Zack secretly filmed Ste before he disappeared in Hollyoaks
Zack secretly filmed Ste before he disappeared in Hollyoaks, with police CCTV also placing him at the shopping centre on the day he vanished.
Hollyoaks has revealed a major new clue in Ste Hay’s disappearance, confirming Zack was watching him before he vanished.
Looking back at the September 2 episode, Zack can be spotted at the shopping centre where Ste was last seen.
He initially walks past Ste, looking back at him, before appearing again nearby with his phone raised in Ste’s direction.
The moment was easy to miss at the time, although some viewers noticed the mysterious man.
Now the significance of that scene has become much clearer.
Zack filmed Ste at the shopping centre
In later scenes, Zack is seen watching footage of Ste on his phone.
The video shows Ste inside the same shopping centre, revealing that Zack had been secretly filming him before his disappearance.
Police investigating Ste’s disappearance have also gathered CCTV images from the day, with Zack clearly appearing among the people captured at the shopping centre.
His presence therefore was not simply an unnoticed background appearance.
Zack was there, he was filming Ste and the police have evidence placing him at the scene.
What does Zack know about Ste?
Zack has since become increasingly interested in Leah and her family, with viewers questioning what the mysterious man actually wants from them and if Leah is in danger.
Hollyoaks has not revealed whether Zack caused Ste’s disappearance, and his presence at the shopping centre does not prove that he did. However, it is now clear that his interest in the Hay family began before he approached Leah.
The biggest question is why Zack was secretly filming Ste and what he knows about what happened next.
Hollyoaks streams first on Channel 4, with episodes also airing on E4 and available on the official Hollyoaks YouTube channel. Image credits - LimePictures
