Emmerdale: Why Jimmy could have no idea he's about to become Kev's next target

Jimmy has no idea that his latest business success could soon put him directly in Ruby's sights in upcoming Emmerdale scenes.

After securing a new haulage contract, Jimmy is focused on moving the business forward. While he believes everything is going to plan, events elsewhere in the village threaten to derail his hard work before he even realises anything is wrong.

Ruby identifies Jimmy's delivery as the perfect opportunity for a robbery and quickly turns her attention to Kev. Knowing his criminal past, she believes he has the experience needed to pull off the theft and approaches him with a proposal that could leave Jimmy counting the cost.

The biggest twist is that Jimmy remains completely unaware that he has become the target. As Ruby puts her plan into motion behind the scenes, Jimmy carries on with business as usual, unaware that one of his deliveries could be about to disappear.

For Kev, the situation is far more complicated than Ruby realises. Although he has a history of crime, he has worked hard to leave that life behind and is trying to build something better for himself. His growing relationship with Lewis has become another reason to avoid making the same mistakes again.

That leaves Kev facing an impossible choice. Accepting Ruby's offer could solve immediate financial worries, but it would also undo the progress he has made and potentially destroy the trust he is beginning to build with his son.

Jimmy may never see the danger coming until it is too late. If Ruby's plan goes ahead, his business could suffer a significant setback, while Kev risks losing everything he has fought to rebuild.

Whether Kev agrees to the robbery or refuses to become involved remains to be seen, but Jimmy's latest success may already have made him an unsuspecting victim.
