Ravi decides he wants a future with Priya after Avani attempts to reunite her parents. Zack encourages Ravi to make a grand gesture, leading Ravi to get down on one knee at The Boxing Den. Priya is left reeling, especially because she has been secretly meeting Max, and decides to end their affair.
Max has further complications when he agrees to look after Annie while Linda dates Clive. Spending time together exposes the unresolved feelings between Max and Linda, while Cindy remains unaware of what Max has been doing with Priya.
Penny pushes ahead with preparations for her shop despite Vinny’s worries about her pregnancy and swelling in her leg. After Penny falls from her wheelchair, Suki urges her to accept support. The situation becomes frightening when Penny struggles to breathe and Max and Priya rush her to hospital.
Denise’s treatment also suffers a major setback. Kim visits hoping to involve her sister in her hen celebrations, but Denise is too unwell. Doctors later tell Denise and Jack that the chemotherapy has not worked as effectively as hoped and that Denise now requires a stem cell transplant.
Nicola and George’s plans for Kojo’s birthday lead Nicola to confront difficult memories from her past. Amy continues struggling after recent events involving Joel, while Craig is taken off the investigation following a complaint but promises to support her. Ross stands by Joel, and Lily later forms an unexpected understanding with him after being disappointed by her exam results.
