Trans Pride Northern Ireland 2026: Belfast Prepares for Saturday’s Main Celebration

Trans Pride Northern Ireland 2026 is bringing a full week of community events to Belfast, with the biggest celebration still to come on Saturday 12 September.

The official Trans Pride NI account confirms that this year’s programme runs from 6 to 13 September 2026, with activities taking place throughout the week and organisers continuing to share updates ahead of the weekend.

One of the events still to come is a Trans Pride placard making session on Thursday 10 September from 6.30pm until 8.30pm. Taking place at the Belfast LGBT Centre on Waring Street, the event gives people the chance to create signs and placards ahead of Saturday’s celebrations.

The main Trans Pride event takes place on Saturday 12 September from 2pm, with the official Trans Pride NI account promoting a colourful line up of entertainment for the day. Organisers have been sharing performers and event information across their social media as the weekend approaches.

The wider programme also includes community activities, opportunities to help paint the Trans Pride NI banner and health support, with The Rainbow Project featured as part of walk in rapid HIV and syphilis testing.

Trans Pride NI is a registered Northern Ireland charity and continues to provide opportunities for trans people to meet, connect and take part in community activities throughout the year.

The 2026 celebrations continue through to Sunday 13 September, with several events still to come before this year’s programme comes to an end.
