Sarahs trial reaches its conclusion in Coronation Street today as the jury delivers its verdict in the case surrounding Theo Silverton’s death.

Sarah is found not guilty, leaving her family overjoyed after months of uncertainty. Outside the courtroom, the relief and emotion are clear as the family come together to hug, celebrating the end of an ordeal that has taken its toll on everyone involved.

However, while Sarah can finally look ahead without the threat of a guilty verdict hanging over her, her personal life remains complicated.

Back at home, Sarah speaks to Kit and makes it clear that she wants to support him through his cancer. She is willing to be there for him as he faces his illness, but Kit remains dismissive towards her.

Despite Sarah’s desire to offer him support, there is little sign that their relationship is moving in a more positive direction. Kit’s attitude leaves their future looking uncertain, with the chances of a reconciliation appearing slim.

Sarah has come through a major challenge in court, but the emotional difficulties in her relationship with Kit are far from resolved.

As she tries to move forward, she may find that rebuilding her personal life proves just as complicated as dealing with the aftermath of the trial.
