Sarah Platt’s Shocking Revenge Plan as Harry Is Targeted

Sarah Platt is pushed to breaking point in Coronation Street as fears for Harry’s safety lead her towards a dangerous act of revenge from behind bars.

Life in prison is already becoming increasingly unbearable for Sarah, but Kacey finds an even more frightening way to get to her. Rather than simply threatening Sarah herself, she makes it clear that she knows exactly who matters most to her on the outside.

Kacey shows Sarah recent photographs of Harry, leaving the terrified mum facing the possibility that her young son could be in danger while she remains powerless to protect him.

Bethany desperately tries to reassure Sarah that everything is being done to keep Harry safe, but that provides little comfort. Sarah knows Kacey appears to have influence beyond the prison walls, and the situation becomes even more disturbing when a treasured photograph of Harry is vandalised.

Sarah’s fear soon turns into determination. With threats and violence making prison life increasingly difficult, she decides she cannot simply wait to see what Kacey does next.

After Kacey asks Sarah a seemingly innocent question that reveals she knows Harry’s name, Sarah reaches breaking point. Desperate to protect her son, she steals pool balls, stuffs them inside a sock and approaches Kacey’s cell.

It is a potentially disastrous move for Sarah. Any violent confrontation could make her situation considerably worse, but by this stage she appears prepared to risk the consequences if she believes it could protect Harry.

There is also plenty happening outside the prison as Sarah’s family attempt to keep life as normal as possible. Bethany becomes concerned after discovering blood on Kit’s shirt, while Alya and Adam take Harry to a new friend’s house without knowing just how serious the potential danger surrounding him may be.

Sarah also turns to Adam after Kacey shows her the recent photographs of Harry, making it clear just how frightened she has become about what could happen to her son.

The question now is whether Sarah will actually carry out her revenge plan when she reaches Kacey’s cell, or whether somebody can stop her before she makes a decision that could have enormous consequences.

Sarah has already shown how far she will go for the people she loves. With Harry apparently being used as the ultimate pressure point against her, Kacey may have pushed her further than ever before.
