Sarah Finally Confesses Everything to Jacob

Sarah Sugden finally tells Jacob Gallagher the truth in upcoming Emmerdale scenes, but her confession could change their relationship forever.

With Charity still behind bars, pressure continues to build on Sarah as her family realises she may hold the key to securing Charity’s freedom. Sarah has already been carrying enormous guilt, but events take another turn when Mackenzie threatens to reveal everything himself.

Sarah is warned that Jacob could discover not only her role in Dr Todd’s death, but also the truth surrounding Leyla’s parentage.

Knowing the information could come from somebody else at any moment, Sarah is forced to decide whether she can continue keeping such enormous secrets from her husband.

Eventually, she makes her decision. Sarah sits Jacob down and confesses everything, leaving him to process revelations that turn his world upside down. Jacob must confront what Sarah has told him about Dr Todd’s death while also absorbing the devastating revelation that Leyla is not biologically his child.

The timing could hardly be worse for Sarah. Charity remains imprisoned and her family desperately needs Sarah to reconsider the statement that has helped leave Charity facing such serious consequences.

Yet Sarah’s confession also creates an entirely new problem closer to home. Jacob now has to decide how he feels about the woman he married after discovering how much she has been keeping from him.

Sarah may finally have chosen honesty, but telling the truth does not guarantee forgiveness. With Jacob left reeling from two enormous revelations at once, Sarah could soon discover that confessing everything was only the beginning.
