Rugby stars Marcus Smith and Louis Rees-Zammit host ITV's new podcast The Sidestep. Discover the latest episodes and where to watch or listen.
Rugby internationals Marcus Smith and Louis Rees-Zammit have teamed up to launch The Sidestep, a new ITV Sport podcast combining rugby discussions, entertainment, interviews and behind-the-scenes stories.
The podcast offers listeners a different side of the two sporting stars, with friendly debates, personal experiences and their thoughts on the biggest talking points in rugby.
Launched in October, The Sidestep has already explored several major rugby stories. The episode Pressure Is for Tyres featured discussions about their recent trips to Madrid and Brighton, while Always Ground the Ball covered a controversial tackle involving Max Malins and Bristol’s 20–7 victory.
The latest episode, Picking the BEST Team in the WORLD!, released on 4 November, sees Marcus and Louis selecting their current World XV and debating which players deserve to be considered world-class.
ITV Sport has planned 27 episodes, including eight video-only specials, with further interviews, challenges and entertainment promised.
The podcast also complements ITV’s Nations Championship rugby coverage, giving audiences another way to enjoy the sport away from live matches.
Where to watch and listen: The Sidestep is available on ITVX, YouTube, Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
