Robert Sugden Nearly Caught in Shocking Nicola Burglary

Robert Sugden finds himself in serious danger in upcoming Emmerdale scenes as Sadie King’s secret plan to search Nicola’s home almost spectacularly backfires.

Sadie has already manipulated grieving Nicola into trusting her enough to gain access to Victoria Cottage. Once she gets hold of the keys, she hands them to Robert and sends him inside to search for Jimmy’s missing money.

However, the break in does not go smoothly. Robert is almost caught while searching the property, placing both himself and Sadie at risk of being exposed. Despite taking such a huge gamble, he also fails to uncover the hidden stash they are convinced could be somewhere inside.

It leaves the pair with nothing to show for their dangerous plan and Nicola still completely unaware of what has been happening behind her back.

Sadie is not prepared to abandon the search, though. Jimmy’s missing money remains her focus and Robert’s failed burglary only forces them to consider where else they could look.

With their first major attempt ending empty handed, the hunt is about to move beyond Nicola’s home. Robert may have escaped without being discovered, but his involvement with Sadie is becoming increasingly risky.
