Out For Sport Awards celebrate London’s LGBTQ+ clubs

London’s LGBTQ+ sports clubs are preparing for the Out For Sport Awards 2026, with winners revealed on Friday 16 October at Ballie Ballerson in Shoreditch. The awards recognise clubs, teams, individuals and volunteers across London and the South East.

ACE Players Tennis Croydon, Brazukas Universe and Kings Cross Steelers RFC are shortlisted for Club of the Year. All-Out Padel and Gayzelles Sporting Club are competing for Emerging Club of the Year, which recognises clubs under three years old.

Who is on the shortlist?

London Leftfooters FC, London Otters Rowing Club and The London Stags RFC are finalists for Inclusive Club of the Year. The category celebrates clubs putting equality, diversity and inclusion into everyday practice.

The individual categories include newcomer, sporting achievement and volunteer awards. Leigh Armstrong, Richard Freeman and Ben Gifford are shortlisted for the Ivan Bussens Lifetime Achievement award, named in memory of Out For Sport’s co-founder.

How to attend

Single tickets cost £10 and include a welcome drink, light bites and the after-party. A group booking of ten tickets costs £90, bringing the price to £9 per person.

The venue is at 97–113 Curtain Road in Shoreditch, London, EC2A 3BS. Supporters can book through the awards’ official ticket page, with the evening offering an opportunity to gather with club members and celebrate the finalists.
