Kim Tate Horrified as Joe Bans Family From Funeral

Kim Tate is left deeply troubled in upcoming Emmerdale scenes when Joe reveals the extraordinary restrictions he intends to place on Dawn’s funeral.

The family are still trying to process Dawn’s death, but Joe has already decided exactly how he wants to say goodbye.

There will be no gathering of loved ones and no family standing beside him. Joe insists the funeral should have only one mourner: himself.

Kim is dismayed. She knows Joe has been devastated by losing Dawn, but his refusal to allow anybody else to attend shows just how isolated he has become in his grief.

Joe appears convinced that keeping everyone away is the only way he can cope with the funeral. For Kim, however, his decision risks depriving the rest of Dawn’s family of their own chance to say goodbye.

The disagreement leaves them approaching the tragedy from very different positions. Joe wants to close everyone out, while Kim is forced to watch as he makes decisions from a place of overwhelming loss.

With emotions already running high, Dawn’s funeral could now become another painful source of tension for the family.

Joe may believe being alone will make the day easier to endure, but his choice could leave those closest to Dawn carrying even more grief afterwards.
