Home and Away spoilers 5–9 October 2026 as Zane forces his arrest and Eden confronts Cash
Zane attacks an officer, Eden needs Cash to face her fears, and Mackenzie ends her IVF journey as Richie returns in Home and Away.
Zane deliberately destroys his fresh start in Home and Away, while Eden needs Cash to face a conversation he keeps avoiding. Coming up, Mackenzie and Levi make a painful decision about parenthood, Richie returns for Abigail and Tane turns on Sonny.
Marilyn suggests college courses and arranges driving lessons for Zane, but he rejects her encouragement.
Alf researches professional support, briefly leaving John worried that Alf needs help himself, yet Zane refuses counselling too.
Over dinner with Mali and Tane, Zane admits that he misses prison’s routine. Later, David shares encouraging news about potentially relaxing his parole conditions, but a warning about being sent back gives Zane an idea.
After thanking his friends for their kindness, Zane grabs a pool cue and smashes up the Juice Bar and board shop. Mali and Tane restrain him, but a police caution is not the outcome he wants.
He punches an officer, forcing David to arrest him.
Cash, meanwhile, runs himself to exhaustion rather than face what Eden needs to discuss.
She wants to talk about what happens if a matching donor cannot be found, while he insists they will grow old together.
Deb arrives to support the family, but Eden eventually asks her parents to leave so she and Cash have privacy.
Cash arranges a surprise visit from Remi, which delights Eden until she realises it is another distraction. Before departing, Deb tells Cash that Eden needs him, leaving the couple to face their conversation.
Abigail struggles with hearing Eden discuss dying and takes a break from home.
She unexpectedly meets Richie, who has left policing behind and now works in retail.
He admits he misses her and asks her to consider another chance.
David and Amelia’s romance takes a happier turn when Lacey agrees to share a drink with Amelia.
Their conversation changes Lacey’s perspective, and she tells David that Amelia could be good for him.
Levi responds to the loss of their frozen embryos with furious calls and plans for legal action.
Mackenzie needs comfort, and after Mali intervenes, the couple begin confronting their grief together. She eventually decides against further IVF, with Levi reassuring her that they are already a family.
Tane pushes Sonny to the floor and later objects to his new job at Salt. Mackenzie refuses to sack him, while Tane apologises and comforts her after learning about the embryos.
