Home and Away Spoilers 31 August–4 September: Eden Collapses in Major Health Scare
Eden’s health takes a frightening turn in Home and Away spoilers for 31 August to 4 September, while Cash helps Harper finally take action against Beau.
A frightening medical emergency becomes the centre of Summer Bay as Eden’s unexplained symptoms suddenly escalate, leaving Cash and her family fearing the worst.
Eden initially experiences dizziness and extreme tiredness, with Abigail becoming increasingly concerned that something is wrong. Abigail even wonders whether Eden could be pregnant, but the test comes back negative and the mystery surrounding her condition continues.
Things become much more serious when Eden suffers another dizzy spell at Salt and collapses into Cash’s arms. Amelia begins running tests at hospital and discovers an abnormal heartbeat, while Cash struggles with seeing his wife seriously unwell.
The situation escalates again when bruising is discovered across Eden’s back. Amelia orders a bone marrow biopsy after abnormal blood results, and Levi warns Mackenzie and Abigail that the possible explanations are serious.
The eventual diagnosis is aplastic anaemia. Amelia explains that Eden’s bone marrow has stopped producing new blood cells, accounting for her exhaustion, fainting and shortness of breath. Treatments can help, but Cash is devastated to learn the condition can be fatal.
Elsewhere, Cash is also instrumental in helping Harper confront Beau. He finds her preparing to leave and persuades her that the injuries she suffered could help police build their case. Harper gives evidence and Beau’s attempt to present her as his alibi collapses, allowing David to arrest him.
Dana also discovers the full extent of Sonny’s deception over drugs. Although she initially feels their relationship may be beyond repair, Remi’s personal experience gives Dana another perspective and she eventually offers Sonny one final chance.
Meanwhile, David and Amelia grow closer, Zane returns to Marilyn and Alf’s lives, and Levi’s damaged hand leaves him increasingly fearful about whether he will be able to continue working as a doctor.
