Home and Away Spoilers 31 August–4 September: 6 Huge Twists Hit Summer Bay

Summer Bay faces six major developments as several ongoing stories reach turning points and new problems begin to emerge.

Eden’s mysterious symptoms become the most serious concern. Increasing tiredness, dizziness and a sudden collapse lead to hospital tests, before bruising and abnormal blood results prompt a bone marrow biopsy. Amelia eventually diagnoses aplastic anaemia and warns Cash that the condition can be fatal.

Beau also faces consequences after Harper decides to help police. Cash finds her preparing to run but convinces her that her injuries could provide vital evidence. Beau turns on Harper when she refuses to support him and David finally places him under arrest.

Sonny is forced to confront the damage caused by his own behaviour when Dana learns that borrowed money was used to buy drugs. Dana initially questions whether their relationship can survive, but Remi’s personal insight into addiction helps her consider giving Sonny one final opportunity.

David’s love life takes a much more positive turn after he learns Amelia is staying. His supposedly mandatory barbecue becomes an excuse for a date, and once everyone else conveniently disappears, David and Amelia finally acknowledge their mutual interest.

Zane resurfaces in difficult circumstances when Mali finds him scavenging for food. After suffering an injury, he reluctantly accepts treatment and is reunited with Marilyn, who refuses to abandon him. She later moves Zane into Alf’s house and helps secure him work at the Diner.

Finally, Levi’s hand injury continues to threaten his confidence. He is told surgery is still three weeks away, but his frustration leads him to attempt treating Zane himself. When his hand fails him, Levi is forced to face the possibility that his future as a doctor may no longer be guaranteed.

With health fears, arrests, romances and second chances all unfolding, Summer Bay has no shortage of drama ahead.

Home and Away airs weekdays on Channel 5 in the UK and streams on 5. SoapLandTV’s coverage follows the UK broadcast, while Australia is further ahead, meaning some storylines and developments may already have aired for Australian viewers.
