Home and Away Spoilers 17–21 August: Zane Arrives as Levi Faces Devastating News

Next week in Summer Bay, UK viewers face a huge five days as Levi receives devastating news about his future as a surgeon, Zane Talbot arrives after ten years behind bars and Remi takes action against Beau.

Meanwhile, Harper faces a frightening escalation in Beau’s behaviour, while Sonny’s involvement in the steroid operation threatens the future he has only just started planning with Dana.

Monday 17 August

Levi faces a terrifying fight to save his hand as Cash prepares to move the huge boulder trapping his arm, knowing the desperate rescue attempt could cause even more damage. Mali races to find a phone signal while Mackenzie, Eden and Abigail remain unaware of just how serious the situation has become, but elsewhere Dana and Sonny finally have reason to celebrate when they become engaged. Their happiness is immediately overshadowed by Sonny’s dangerous secret as one of Beau’s clients contacts him for drugs, forcing him to slip away from the celebrations while a suspicious Alf notices his strange behaviour.

Tuesday 18 August

Levi survives his ordeal, but devastating news leaves his entire career hanging in the balance. Cash finally frees him before Mali successfully brings rescuers to the scene, only for Levi to learn at hospital that he may never regain full use of his hand and could be unable to operate again. Mackenzie struggles with Cash’s involvement in Levi’s injuries, Abigail thanks Mali for saving her brother and Levi defends Cash, while another crisis is quietly developing as David returns to police work despite Jo’s concerns. Amelia is also considering leaving Summer Bay when her hospital contract ends as any hope of a relationship with David appears increasingly uncertain.

Wednesday 19 August

A mysterious newcomer arrives in Summer Bay just as David’s fragile return to police work begins to unravel. Ritchie’s file triggers painful memories of the shooting, but David soon finds another focus when newly released prisoner Zane Talbot arrives after serving ten years behind bars and reveals his unexpected connection to Marilyn, who has been his prison pen pal for the past year. Alf is immediately wary of Zane’s history, while Lacey confronts David over returning to work too soon and reveals that she and Jo asked Cash to watch him. David reacts angrily, but Lacey refuses to back down as fears continue to grow over whether her father is really ready to be back on duty.

Thursday 20 August

Dana and Sonny’s engagement party becomes the setting for two relationships heading towards serious trouble. Sonny struggles with his guilt as Dana speaks about their future together, while Remi closes in on the truth about his involvement with Beau’s steroid operation and warns him to put things right or face the police. Harper faces an even more frightening situation as Beau’s jealousy over her friendship with Remi escalates, culminating in Beau backhanding her across the face. Elsewhere, Zane continues trying to prove himself to a suspicious Alf, while David tells Amelia he cannot offer her a relationship and she reveals she could soon leave Summer Bay.

Friday 21 August

Beau’s steroid operation finally reaches the police as Remi tells Cash what has been happening, leading David to secure a search warrant while Beau is taken in for questioning. Sonny secretly removes the drugs before officers arrive, leaving the search empty handed and allowing Beau to walk free, but his relief may be short lived when Tane discovers Sonny hiding more steroids in his locker and demands the truth about his connection to Beau. Harper is also left facing a disturbing decision after Beau attempts to justify hitting her and suggests they leave Summer Bay together, while her decision to ask Tane to look after Archie leaves him increasingly concerned about what is happening.
