Home and Away Remi names Beau as mastermind behind brutal attack
Home and Away’s Remi tells Cash he is certain Beau arranged his brutal attack, putting police pressure firmly back on the steroid dealer.
Remi points the finger directly at Beau in Home and Away as he speaks to Cash from his hospital bed following the brutal attack that left him badly injured. Although Remi cannot identify the men who assaulted him, he has no doubt about who he believes ordered the violence.
Remi is recovering quickly and is ready to give police his account of what happened. Cash questions him about the attack, hoping Remi can provide enough information to help identify those responsible and establish exactly why he was targeted.
Unfortunately, Remi never got a proper look at the men who attacked him. They placed a bag over his head before roughing him up, deliberately preventing him from being able to identify them afterwards.
What Remi can tell Cash is that the attack felt like a warning rather than a random assault. He is convinced it was organised because of what he knew and the confrontation that had already taken place over Sonny’s involvement in Beau’s steroid operation.
Remi makes his suspicions about Beau completely clear. He believes Beau arranged the attack and points to the circumstances surrounding what happened, including Beau being at the Surf Club when the attackers jumped him and being there again when Remi was later dumped back.
The accusation gives Cash a much clearer direction for the investigation. Remi may not be able to name the men who physically attacked him, but his certainty over Beau’s involvement adds another serious allegation to the growing case surrounding him.
Eden wants to remain at the hospital while Remi undergoes a few more tests, but he insists she should go to work. He promises to come to Salt once he is discharged so she can keep an eye on him, showing that despite everything he has been through, Remi is determined not to let the attack completely derail him.
When they later discuss Sonny, Eden has little sympathy for the part he played in everything that happened. Remi takes a more measured view and argues that their anger should be directed towards Beau, the person he believes deliberately escalated the situation into violence.
That distinction becomes important because Remi clearly does not see Sonny as the real threat. Sonny may have made serious mistakes by becoming involved in the steroid operation, but Remi believes Beau is the person responsible for turning those mistakes into something genuinely dangerous.
Remi’s statement could now become crucial for Cash as the police investigation gathers pace. Sonny is preparing to tell police what he knows, while Remi is openly identifying Beau as the person he believes ordered an attack designed to frighten him into silence.
Beau may have hoped the beating would stop Remi from talking, but it appears to have achieved the opposite. Remi is now more certain than ever about where the real danger lies, and he is prepared to make sure Cash knows exactly who he suspects.
