Home and Away: Lacey confronts Amelia over David rumours

Lacey takes matters into her own hands in upcoming Home and Away scenes after Jo's suspicions about David and Amelia refuse to go away. Hoping to settle the matter once and for all, she decides there is only one person who can give her an honest answer.

Although David insists Amelia has only ever been his doctor, Jo remains convinced there is more to the story. She points to the mixed messages, the requests for space and the awkward moments between them, believing they all point towards feelings that neither of them is prepared to admit.

Lacey is less certain than her sister, but she cannot ignore Jo's arguments forever. Wanting to stop the rumours before they gather even more momentum, she approaches Amelia while she is at Salt and asks the difficult question directly.

That conversation ultimately proves far more emotional than anyone expected. Amelia is left hurt after opening up about her feelings, while David is forced to confront questions he has never allowed himself to consider before.

Whether Lacey's decision to confront Amelia has helped or complicated matters remains to be seen. What is clear, however, is that her search for answers has become another important moment in a storyline that continues to grow more emotionally charged with every episode.
