Home and Away: Justin's honesty leaves David facing an impossible decision

Justin finds himself caught in the middle of an emotional situation in upcoming Home and Away scenes when he decides he can no longer keep David in the dark.

After Jo voices her suspicions that Amelia may have developed feelings for David, Justin initially tries to keep out of the growing drama. Leah encourages him to support David while also reminding him that some things are better left unsaid, particularly when emotions are already running high.

Justin genuinely tries to follow that advice. While spending time with David, he listens as his friend dismisses Jo's concerns and insists everyone has completely misunderstood the situation. David is convinced Amelia has only ever treated him professionally and cannot understand why his daughters have become so suspicious.

The longer the conversation continues, the harder Justin finds it to stay quiet. Knowing David is trying to make sense of everything, Justin eventually admits that Jo may not be imagining things after all. His comments immediately change David's outlook, leaving him questioning whether he has missed something important.

Justin never intended to create more confusion. His decision comes from a place of honesty rather than gossip, but he knows his words are likely to have consequences. Once the possibility is raised, David decides he has no choice but to speak to Amelia directly and settle the matter for himself.

That conversation proves far more emotional than either of them expected. Instead of ending the rumours, Amelia asks David whether it would really be so terrible if she had feelings for him. The fallout continues beyond their meeting. David later arranges an urgent counselling session to work through everything that has happened, while Amelia is left embarrassed and heartbroken after opening up about her emotions. What began as Justin telling the truth ultimately leaves everyone involved facing difficult questions about where they go next.

Whether Justin will regret speaking up remains to be seen. Although his honesty has caused short term pain, it may also prove to be the first step towards giving David and Amelia the opportunity to confront feelings that neither of them can ignore any longer.
