Home and Away’s Jimmy arrives in Summer Bay after Mackenzie secretly calls him as Levi becomes consumed by fears that Eden may not survive.
Levi receives desperately needed family support in Home and Away when his father Jimmy unexpectedly arrives in Summer Bay. The reunion comes after Mackenzie goes against Levi’s wishes and calls for help, having watched him become increasingly consumed by the possibility of losing Eden.
Levi is still obsessively researching Eden’s illness and struggling to switch off. Mackenzie repeatedly encourages him to rest, but he cannot escape the image of his sister dying while doctors remain unable to find the stem cell donor she needs.
His fear has become tangled with his identity as a doctor. Levi understands the medical information better than most of the family, but that knowledge offers little comfort when he cannot predict whether the treatment will work or when a suitable donor might appear.
Mackenzie finally decides that waiting for Levi to ask for support is no longer an option. When the door opens that evening, Jimmy is standing on the other side after answering her private request to come to Summer Bay.
Levi is initially confronted by the fact Mackenzie went behind his back, but any frustration quickly gives way to relief. He is genuinely pleased to see his father and finally has someone else who can share the emotional weight of what is happening.
Levi talks Jimmy through the uncertainty surrounding Eden’s condition and describes her chances as something of a lottery. There are still treatment options and donor searches continuing, but no one can guarantee the outcome the family desperately wants.
Abigail also arrives after Mackenzie sends her home from work so she can see Jimmy. His presence gives both siblings another source of support at a time when they have been trying to remain strong for Eden and each other.
Abigail immediately begins thinking about whether Jimmy could safely visit Eden. Levi is cautious because of the strict infection restrictions, but Abigail convinces him that they can at least ask whether a carefully managed meeting might be possible.
Jimmy has arrived because his children need him, but seeing Eden will make the crisis painfully real for him too. The Fowler family is coming together again, even as the uncertainty surrounding Eden grows harder for any of them to ignore.
