Home and Away brings several long-running storylines to major turning points between 7 and 11 September, while opening the door to new beginnings elsewhere in Summer Bay.
Eden remains at the centre of one of the most serious stories as treatment begins for aplastic anaemia. Blood transfusions offer some immediate support, but Levi warns Abigail that the condition can be severe, while Eden privately admits she is frightened about what comes next.
Cash becomes determined to stay beside her and even threatens to resign from the police if he cannot take leave. Remi struggles in a different way, turning to alcohol before Amelia reminds him that the most useful thing he can do is remain clear-headed and present for Eden.
Harper’s battle with Beau also reaches a decisive point. Beau returns to Summer Bay despite the AVO, prompting Harper to leave with Archie while Tane uses her phone to lure Beau into a meeting.
The trap works, and Beau is finally surrounded by police and arrested. Although that removes the immediate threat, Harper admits later that knowing Beau will eventually leave prison means she still does not feel completely safe.
Sonny meanwhile hits another low when steroid withdrawal leads him back towards the drugs. Dana catches him, ends their relationship and moves out, leaving Sonny dependent on Remi’s support.
There is eventually a small opening for reconciliation when Dana agrees to talk and says she is willing to work through their problems. However, a misunderstanding over Sonny taking painkillers shows how badly trust has been damaged.
David and Amelia provide one of the week’s brighter developments. Their beach date goes well, Amelia admits Summer Bay is beginning to feel difficult to leave and even Lacey starts accepting that her father’s new relationship could become serious.
Zane also continues moving forward. Alf remains cautious but begins helping him adjust to life outside prison, while Zane prepares to receive his first wages and gradually becomes part of everyday Summer Bay life.
Home and Away airs weekdays on Channel 5 in the UK and streams on 5. SoapLandTV’s coverage follows the UK broadcast, while Australia is further ahead, meaning some storylines and developments may already have aired for Australian viewers.
