Abigail learns she cannot donate because of her previous IV drug use, while Sonny faces Tane’s anger over Harper and Archie leaving. Sonny later receives unexpected news that his charges will be dropped after his cooperation against Beau.
Wednesday 16 September
David and Amelia’s romance heats up as they share an intimate first kiss, but David suddenly panics and walks away. Lacey continues struggling with the relationship, while Mali encourages her to consider whether her father deserves another chance at happiness.
Levi meanwhile considers delaying his hand surgery so he can potentially donate stem cells to Eden. After initially refusing to let him risk his recovery, Eden changes her mind and Levi undergoes compatibility testing.
Thursday 17 September
David finally explains to Amelia that he still feels connected to his late wife and is struggling with guilt about moving forward. Later, he removes his wedding ring for the first time since her death.
Zane admits he is haunted by the suffering of his victim and questions whether he deserves the trust Marilyn and Alf have shown him. Marilyn encourages him to write an apology, giving Zane a way to confront feelings he has struggled to express.
Friday 18 September
Lacey discovers David has removed his wedding ring and lashes out at Amelia, telling her to stay away. David later makes clear that he wants the relationship and believes it is worth fighting for.
Zane posts his apology letter but immediately becomes anxious about whether he has done the right thing. Leah shares the same concern, particularly when she considers how she would feel if someone who had harmed her own family tried to make contact.
