Home and Away: Beau Hammond gives Sonny Baldwin 24 hours to repay secret debt

Home and Away UK viewers will see Beau Hammond give Sonny Baldwin a strict 24 hour deadline to begin repaying his debt in upcoming scenes. Sonny hopes that surrendering his restaurant reservation has eased the pressure, but Beau makes it clear that the gesture has achieved very little.

After giving Beau and Harper the booking meant for him and Dana, Sonny approaches Beau privately to ask where he now stands.

He is hopeful that the reservation has reduced what he owes. Beau quickly shuts down that assumption and explains that Sonny has only bought himself another day.

Beau makes the threat clear

Beau tells Sonny he has 24 more hours to start paying him back. He also warns that they are going to have a problem if Sonny fails to meet the demand.

The wording leaves plenty unsaid, which may make the threat even more effective. Sonny understands that Beau expects action, but he is given no reassurance about what will happen if he cannot find the money.

That uncertainty sends Sonny into a desperate search for help. He cannot easily turn to Dana without admitting what he has been hiding, while asking Justin or Mackenzie for work would not produce money quickly enough.

Sonny eventually approaches Eden and asks for a loan, promising that he will repay her. The request is overheard by Remi, who immediately intervenes.

Beau’s pressure risks exposing everything

Beau may believe the deadline gives him more control, but it also forces Sonny into decisions that attract attention.

Remi is furious that Sonny is asking another friend for money and warns that he will involve the police if it happens again. Dana then witnesses their confrontation and begins demanding answers.

The more pressure Beau applies, the harder it becomes for Sonny to keep the debt private. Dana is already questioning his behaviour, Remi knows he is searching for money and Eden has now been approached directly.

Beau still appears confident that Sonny will find a way to pay. However, the deadline could become the very thing that exposes their secret arrangement to everyone around them.

If Sonny cannot produce the money, Beau will have to decide whether his warning was intended only to frighten him or whether he is prepared to follow through.
