Hollyoaks Spoilers: 10 to 12 August

Jonah struggles as the birthday of his late wife Debbie arrives and decides to hold a barbecue in her honour. When the mood at the gathering becomes low, he comes up with a plan to lift everyone’s spirits and help the family mark the occasion together.

The day also leads to a major family revelation when Caleb tells Jonah that he wants to go travelling with Frankie. Jonah responds by sharing a long-buried secret, leaving Caleb shocked by what he has discovered about his family.

Cleo and Dodger wake up together before an unexpected phone call from Theresa interrupts them. Cleo later grows closer to Abigail during a night at The Loft, and the pair hook up after drinking together, but their new connection quickly falls apart.

Abigail is left devastated when Cleo suddenly calls time on their relationship. Her heartbreak becomes overwhelming when she suffers a breakdown in her car, shocking Dee Dee before Abigail opens up to Dodger about what she is going through.

Beth decides to start taking her anxiety medication again after Jonah encourages her to seek support. However, she soon panics when she cannot find her pills, leaving her increasingly distressed as she searches for them.

Imran prepares for his approaching wedding to Leah and uses his magic to bring two feuding locals back together. Elsewhere, James arranges a wine-tasting session at The Hutch, while Maddox enjoys spending more time with his girlfriend Dee Dee.

Ste is shaken after learning that Rex’s body is being released and struggles to process the news. Mercedes also becomes suspicious when she finds Warren drowning his sorrows and begins wondering what has left him so troubled.
