Hollyoaks Ste mystery puts James firmly in the spotlight

Ste’s unexplained disappearance puts James under increasing pressure in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes as those closest to Ste desperately try to establish where he has gone.
Concern initially grows when Ste cannot be found, although Leah wonders whether her dad could simply be sleeping off his hangover. Leela is far less convinced by that possibility and joins Mercedes in trying to find answers as the situation becomes increasingly worrying.
Things become considerably more serious when Ste vanishes without a trace during the road trip. With nobody able to explain where he has gone, his family and friends are left trying to piece together what happened before his disappearance and whether anyone knows more than they are saying.
James soon finds himself facing questions as the search continues. Those around Ste want to understand his movements and what happened before he vanished, placing James firmly in the spotlight while emotions are already running high.
The disappearance is particularly difficult for Lucas, who becomes overwhelmed when painful memories involving his dad come flooding back. His distress develops into a frightening panic attack, showing how deeply the uncertainty surrounding Ste is affecting his family.
The situation remains unresolved as Sienna returns to Hollyoaks following her release from prison. Although she has problems of her own to deal with after discovering James staying in her flat, she soon becomes caught up in the growing fears surrounding Ste.
As more time passes without any sign of him, Sienna begins considering some deeply worrying possibilities. She fears Ste could have overdosed or been involved in an accident, forcing James to confront the possibility that something serious may have happened.
The thought proves overwhelming for James and he eventually breaks down. His reaction comes while questions continue to surround Ste’s disappearance, adding another emotional dimension to a mystery that has already left several people struggling.
There are still no firm answers about where Ste has gone or what happened to him. Until he is found, James remains caught between the questions being asked of him and his own growing fear over what may have happened to Ste.
