Hollyoaks spoilers: Ste vanishes as suspicion begins to grow

Hollyoaks is heading into a tense mystery, with episodes this coming week from 7 September before the story develops further next week from 13 September 2026.

Here is a quick snapshot of what to expect, as Ste disappears, Sienna returns and the people closest to Ste begin fearing something serious has happened.

This week sees Ste go missing during the road trip. Leah initially wonders whether he could simply be recovering somewhere after drinking, but Leela is not convinced and starts looking for answers with Mercedes.

Lucas is also badly affected by events. Memories involving his father trigger a panic attack, while Ste’s family and friends begin pressing James for information as concern grows.

Coming up also, Sienna returns after the case against her is dropped. She finds James staying in her flat and quickly tells him that arrangement is over.

Mercedes is unsettled by Sienna’s return and warns Cleo to be careful. Dodger also arranges some private time with Cleo, but neither realises somebody is secretly watching them and taking a photograph.

As the days pass without any sign of Ste, Sienna starts considering whether drugs or an accident could explain his disappearance. James also becomes overwhelmed by the possibility that something has gone seriously wrong.

Elsewhere, Caleb and Frankie’s plans to travel meet resistance from their families. Jonah has particular concerns about Caleb’s recovery and what the trip could mean, before Caleb falls ill and has to go to hospital.

Then next week, the search for Ste takes a major turn when the available evidence begins directing suspicion towards one person. Jonah also tightens his grip on the Keane household, while Maddox opens up to Cindy without knowing that she is his mother.
