Hollyoaks spoilers for 8–9 September see Sienna return to the village, Ste’s loved ones search for answers and Cleo and Dodger face exposure.
Sienna Blake is heading back to Hollyoaks on 8 September, and her return immediately places her in the middle of several already complicated situations.
After being released from prison, Sienna heads home and discovers James Nightingale has been staying in her flat.
She wastes little time making it clear that the arrangement cannot continue and tells him he will need to move out.
News of Sienna’s return quickly spreads, with Mercedes McQueen particularly unhappy to see her again.
Cleo also has to deal with seeing Sienna for the first time since everything that happened between them, creating another difficult encounter.
Away from that reunion, Cleo has a separate secret to worry about. She and Dodger continue finding moments to be together despite his relationship with Theresa, but their latest meeting could have consequences neither of them sees coming.
While they are alone at Casa McQueen, someone outside notices them together and takes a photograph.
Ste Hay’s disappearance remains a major concern on 9 September as his family and friends struggle with having no clear answers about where he has gone.
Mercedes and Leela try to piece together what happened around the time Ste vanished, but their efforts initially lead nowhere.
Lucas is particularly affected as old memories involving his dad come flooding back.
Imran later finds him in a distressed state as the pressure surrounding Ste’s disappearance becomes increasingly difficult for him to handle.
James also comes under growing scrutiny. Questions are raised about where he was when Ste disappeared, and Mercedes and Leela begin looking more closely at his movements.
The situation escalates further when Ste’s friends and relatives confront James at The Dog. Sienna then raises the frightening possibility that Ste may have suffered an overdose or been involved in an accident, leaving James overwhelmed by what could have happened.
By the end of the two episodes, Sienna is firmly back in the village, Cleo and Dodger’s affair is closer to being uncovered and the search for Ste has placed James under increasing pressure.
