Hollyoaks spoilers 5–7 October Lucas begs Xander to help him escape
Lucas seeks a way out after Leah’s fall in Hollyoaks, as James insists he is being framed and Gemma faces a police pursuit at the hospital.
Lucas turns to Xander for help leaving the village in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes after Leah is seriously injured. His desperate request follows an admission that shocks his sister during an already tense family visit.
James is adamant he is being framed, and Leah tells Lucas she believes James is innocent. Misbah, Imran and Gemma arrive to support the family, although Gemma is furious with Lucas about their shared secret.
Imran comforts Leah when she steps outside for a breather. Later, Leah hears Lucas admit he is guilty and tells him to stay away from her before she falls down the steps.
Frankie rushes from the shop while Lucas watches in horror. Misbah and Gemma respond to Frankie’s cries for help, but Lucas flees and subsequently begs Xander to get him out of the village.
At the same time, Mercedes shares information with Dodger about Gemma’s recent crimes with Jenson. Confronted by Dodger, Jenson claims he is an undercover agent who has evidence relating to Ste’s disappearance.
Warren’s encounter with Dodger leads to a different revelation. Misunderstanding why he is being confronted, Warren confesses to sleeping with Gemma, while Mercedes later challenges Gemma over the fact she has not been arrested.
Dodger tells Donny about his concerns regarding Gemma’s involvement in Ste’s disappearance. Jenson then produces voicemails in which Gemma admits crimes involving a cryptocurrency wallet, a tool for accessing digital money, giving Mercedes recordings to take to the station.
Donny struggles as the detectives decide to bring Gemma in. Misbah, however, continues to support her and dismisses the gossip as Gemma decides to return to work.
Donny and Dodger arrive with an arrest warrant just after Gemma leaves. They close in on her at the hospital, where a chase ensues.
For Leah, there is a gentler moment when she wakes to find Imran beside her, after he has told Misbah he still loves her. Frankie’s quick response also earns recognition from Nancy, who suggests nursing could be worth considering.
