I’m in Love with the SuperVillain Brings New WLW AI Romance to YouTube
New WLW AI romance I’m in Love with the SuperVillain follows superhero Nova as she falls for Vesper, the supervillain she should be fighting.
A new WLW superhero romance has arrived on YouTube, and its central couple are definitely not supposed to be falling for each other. I’m in Love with the SuperVillain! follows superhero Nova and supervillain Vesper as the line between enemies and something much more complicated begins to disappear.
The original AI-assisted web series comes from LezAI and launched in September 2026, with its first episode introducing Nova’s very obvious feelings for the woman she should technically be fighting. Rather than keeping the romance in the background, Nova and Vesper are at the heart of the story from the beginning.
Meet Nova and Vesper
Nova is the superhero, Vesper is the supervillain, and that should make their relationship fairly straightforward. Unfortunately for Nova, being attracted to her enemy makes following the usual superhero rules considerably more difficult.
The opening story sees Vesper captured and used as bait, leaving Nova rushing into danger to reach her. As the situation escalates, so do the feelings between them, setting up a romance built around two women who are supposed to be standing on opposite sides.
It gives I’m in Love with the SuperVillain! an immediate enemies-to-lovers hook while still leaving plenty of room for superhero action, danger and the question of what happens when saving the woman you love might also mean saving the villain.
A new WLW series to discover
The series is explicitly presented as a WLW and sapphic romance, putting Nova and Vesper’s relationship at the centre rather than treating it as background representation. WLW means women loving women and is commonly used for stories featuring romantic relationships between women.
Episodes are already continuing beyond the original introduction, so viewers discovering Nova and Vesper now have more of their story to explore. The combination of superheroes, romance and an ongoing female couple also gives the series its own identity within the growing number of independent AI-assisted projects appearing online.
For viewers looking for new sapphic romances outside traditional television and streaming services, I’m in Love with the SuperVillain! is another independent series worth having on the radar.
