Hollyoaks spoilers 5–7 October Jenson claims he is undercover as Gemma faces exposure
Jenson gives Dodger an unexpected explanation in Hollyoaks, while Mercedes obtains recordings, Leah is injured and Lucas seeks help to escape.
Jenson claims he is an undercover agent when Dodger confronts him in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes. His explanation follows Mercedes’s decision to share what she knows about his recent crimes with Gemma.
Jenson says he has evidence concerning Ste’s disappearance, leaving Dodger to assess his account. Meanwhile, James insists he is being framed, and Leah tells Lucas she believes James is innocent.
Misbah, Imran and Gemma visit Ste’s family, with Imran comforting Leah when she goes outside for a breather. Gemma’s attention is on Lucas, however, as she fumes over the secret they now share.
Leah is shocked to hear Lucas admit he is guilty. She tells him to stay away before falling down the steps, prompting Frankie to rush from the shop.
With Leah unconscious, Frankie screams for help and Misbah and Gemma spring into action. Lucas watches in horror before fleeing, later begging Xander to help him leave the village.
Dodger’s enquiries also bring a confession he was not expecting from Warren. Getting the wrong idea about their confrontation, Warren admits sleeping with Gemma, while Mercedes becomes furious that Gemma has not been arrested.
After Dodger raises his concerns with Donny, Jenson gives Mercedes recordings to take to the police. The voicemails contain Gemma admitting crimes involving a cryptocurrency wallet, a tool used to access digital money.
Donny struggles as he and Dodger decide to bring Gemma in. Misbah continues to back Gemma, who refuses to let the hospital rumours keep her away from her job.
Gemma leaves for work shortly before the detectives arrive with an arrest warrant. Their search takes them to the hospital, where a chase follows as they close in.
Elsewhere, Imran tells Misbah he still loves Leah and is keeping vigil when she wakes. Frankie’s response to the emergency also gets Nancy thinking about her future, prompting a suggestion that she could consider nursing.
