Hollyoaks spoilers 5–7 October Gemma faces arrest and a hospital chase
Mercedes gives police recordings of Gemma’s crimes in Hollyoaks, while Leah suffers a frightening fall and Warren makes an unexpected confession.
Gemma’s refusal to let gossip keep her away from work ends in a hospital chase in upcoming Hollyoaks scenes. With Mercedes handing recordings to the police, Donny faces the difficult prospect of bringing Gemma in.
Misbah initially suggests Gemma call in sick because the hospital is rife with rumours. Gemma refuses to let Mercedes unsettle her and joins Misbah and Imran in visiting Ste’s family.
James maintains he is being framed, with Leah telling Lucas she believes James is innocent. Imran comforts Leah when she steps outside, but the visit remains uncomfortable as Gemma fumes at Lucas over their shared secret.
Leah is shocked when she hears Lucas admit he is guilty. She tells him to stay away before falling down the steps, leaving Frankie rushing to her aid and Lucas watching in horror.
As Frankie calls for help, Misbah and Gemma attend to the unconscious Leah. Lucas flees and later asks Xander to help him leave the village.
Mercedes, meanwhile, tells Dodger about Gemma’s recent crimes with Jenson. Jenson responds to being challenged by claiming he is an undercover agent with evidence about Ste’s disappearance.
Dodger also gets an unexpected confession from Warren, who misunderstands their confrontation and admits sleeping with Gemma. Furious that Gemma has not been arrested, Mercedes challenges her directly, while Dodger shares his concerns with Donny.
The investigation advances when Jenson shows Mercedes voicemails containing Gemma’s admissions about crimes involving a cryptocurrency wallet, which provides access to digital money. She brings the recordings to the detectives, and Donny struggles as they agree to bring Gemma in.
Misbah reassures Gemma that she does not believe the gossip. Gemma leaves for work just before Donny and Dodger arrive with an arrest warrant, leading to a pursuit at the hospital.
Elsewhere, Imran admits to Misbah that he still loves Leah and is at her bedside when she wakes. Nancy also recognises Frankie’s handling of the emergency, wondering whether she might have a future in nursing.
