Hollyoaks spoilers 24–26 August: 8 dramatic developments

Hollyoaks has several stories moving forward from 24–26 August, with Donny learning the truth about Vicky and Leah digging deeper into Rex’s murder. James also attempts to rebuild things with Ste, while Cindy confronts another mystery involving Xander.

1. Donny discovers Vicky’s eating disorder

Donny learns that Vicky has an eating disorder and realises something needs to be done. The discovery puts Vicky at the centre of one of the week’s most serious stories.

2. Ste turns to Leah

Ste asks Leah to look into James’ possible involvement in Rex’s murder. Leah agrees to help and starts investigating what could have happened.

3. Mercedes gets creative

Mercedes turns her attention to her children’s old clothes and gives them a makeover. She hopes to jazz them up enough to resell them.

4. Tony discovers the truth

Tony is furious when he learns Maddox and Dee Dee have had sex. His reaction creates another difficult situation for the family.

5. Leah researches Rex’s killer

Leah continues the investigation by carrying out online research into Rex’s killer. Her efforts keep the mystery surrounding his death moving forward.

6. James asks Beth for help

James turns to Beth as he tries to repair his relationship with Ste. He asks her to help him win back his ex-husband’s trust.

7. Cindy meets Xander

Cindy meets Martin’s son Xander as she searches for answers. She wants to understand why she was set up and hopes Xander can help uncover the truth.

8. Ro remembers Rex

James brings Ste flowers and also strikes up an unlikely friendship with Jonah. Meanwhile, Ro holds a memorial for his late friend Rex as the village continues to feel the impact of his death.
