Hollyoaks Sienna returns and walks straight into trouble
Sienna makes her long-awaited return to Hollyoaks, but she is stunned by what she finds at home before facing a furious Mercedes.
Sienna is back in Hollyoaks, and her return to the village immediately puts her face to face with some very complicated unfinished business.
Upcoming scenes see Sienna released from prison after the case against her is dropped because Clare’s body has not been found. She finally makes her way home, but any chance of easing quietly back into village life disappears almost immediately.
One of her first surprises is discovering James staying in her flat. Sienna is not impressed to find that her home has effectively been taken over while she has been away. She quickly makes her position clear and gives James notice to find somewhere else to live.
It is an awkward reunion on both sides, particularly with James already caught up in the growing concern surrounding Ste’s disappearance.
Sienna then faces another hostile reception when Mercedes discovers she is back. There is still considerable anger over Sienna’s past treatment of Cleo, and Mercedes has no intention of pretending those feelings have disappeared.
Mercedes warns Cleo to stay away from Sienna, making it clear that she remains deeply suspicious of her and wants to protect Cleo from becoming caught up with her again.
For Cleo, Sienna’s return comes at an already complicated moment. She has her own secret involving Dodger to worry about, meaning the arrival of somebody with such a significant place in her past is another emotional complication she could probably do without.
Sienna has barely stepped back into Hollyoaks before she finds herself dealing with James, Mercedes and Cleo all over again. Rather than returning to a clean slate, she discovers that plenty has changed while she has been away but the feelings surrounding her have not necessarily moved on with it.
Her comeback also places her close to one of the village’s biggest current concerns as the search for Ste continues.
Sienna has never been a character who remains detached from events for long, and her latest return looks set to put her right back among the people and relationships that have shaped some of her biggest stories.
