Hollyoaks Gemma risks everything with deadly Mercedes scheme
Hollyoaks Gemma takes drastic action against Mercedes, but her dangerous scheme begins slipping out of control when Ste and Leela join the journey.
Gemma takes her campaign against Mercedes to a dangerous new level in Hollyoaks as she secretly puts a plan in place to get rid of her.
Her scheme begins with what appears to be an innocent gift. Gemma gives Mercedes a spa voucher, creating the perfect opportunity for Mercedes to leave the village without suspecting that anything is wrong.
Behind the scenes, however, Gemma has arranged for a group of men to follow Mercedes’ car. The seemingly generous gesture is therefore part of something far darker, with Mercedes unknowingly heading into a situation specifically designed to target her.
Gemma’s problem begins when Mercedes changes the plan without even realising it. Rather than travelling alone, she invites Ste and Leela to join her, meaning two people Gemma apparently never intended to involve are suddenly travelling alongside her target.
That dramatically increases the risks surrounding the scheme. Whatever Gemma intended to happen to Mercedes now has the potential to affect Ste and Leela too, while additional witnesses could make it much harder for her to control the outcome.
Ste is also already struggling following Rex’s death, making his accidental involvement particularly worrying. Leela similarly has no idea that she has become caught up in a plot that has nothing to do with her.
Gemma may have carefully arranged the circumstances around Mercedes’ trip, but she cannot control every decision Mercedes makes. Inviting two friends along could prove to be the unexpected development that changes everything.
With three people now inside the car and men following them, Gemma’s attempt to remove Mercedes threatens to become far more dangerous than she originally planned.
