Ant’s baby talk leaves Kathleen-Angel uncomfortable in Hollyoaks as he starts to fear they may not want the same future.
Hollyoaks is set to leave Ant questioning his future with Kathleen-Angel after his excitement about having children produces a very different reaction from his girlfriend.
Coming up on Wednesday, Ant continues talking about the possibility of the pair having children together one day. For him, the conversation appears to be about the future they could share, but Kathleen-Angel is noticeably uncomfortable with what he is suggesting.
Her reaction doesn't go unnoticed. When Kathleen-Angel recoils from the idea, Ant begins worrying that the problem could be much bigger than simply disagreeing about when to start a family. He starts to fear that she may not see their relationship developing into the long-term future he has imagined.
The scenes bring a new question into their relationship because the issue is no longer simply whether Kathleen-Angel wants children. Ant is left wondering whether she sees the two of them staying together at all.
With the pair suddenly appearing to have very different expectations about where their relationship is heading, a conversation about children could expose a much bigger divide.
