Abigail’s behaviour towards Dee Dee takes another unsettling turn in Hollyoaks after Nancy suffers a frightening health emergency at school.
Upcoming scenes see Nancy experience an MS relapse, leaving Dee Dee worried enough to seek help from Abigail as the situation becomes increasingly serious. Nancy is eventually taken to hospital, but the emergency appears to mark another shift in the relationship between Dee Dee and Abigail.
Rather than bringing them closer, relations between the pair soon deteriorate. Dee Dee is later faced with having to read aloud in class and is clearly nervous about doing so, while Abigail watches her closely.
The moment adds to growing concern around Abigail’s involvement in Dee Dee’s life.
