The storyline has already shown Abigail exploiting her position of trust, with Dee Dee struggling to recognise the imbalance between them.
Next week, Nancy calls Abigail into a safeguarding meeting following an allegation. Abigail immediately fears that her own behaviour may have been exposed and reacts defensively.
She soon discovers that Beth has raised concerns following Maddox's injury, but her overreaction leaves Nancy alarmed.
Despite this, Abigail is tasked with restarting Dee Dee's wellbeing sessions, giving her further opportunities to influence the teenager.
With Nancy beginning to notice warning signs, Abigail could face increasing scrutiny. For Dee Dee, the concern is that she continues to trust the very person who is exploiting her vulnerability.
