Emmerdales Vinny Dingle’s Death Secret Could Destroy Lewis

Vinny Dingle’s devastating secret threatens to destroy his relationship with Lewis Barton just as Lewis prepares to take their romance to the next level.

Lewis has marriage firmly on his mind and confides in Kev that he wants to propose to Vinny. For Kev, the news immediately creates a huge dilemma. He already knows that Vinny is carrying responsibility for the deaths of Dawn and Jimmy, and although he has agreed to keep the truth quiet for Lewis’ sake, watching his son plan a future with Vinny becomes increasingly difficult.

Lewis remains completely unaware of what is hanging over their relationship. After initially planning to hint at marriage, he decides to stop waiting and spontaneously proposes. Vinny is stunned. His guilt immediately takes over, leaving him unable to give Lewis the enthusiastic answer he is expecting. Vinny knows that agreeing to marriage would mean building their future while keeping an enormous secret from the man he loves.

Lewis sees only hesitation and rejection. Kev, meanwhile, is left watching his son get hurt while knowing exactly why Vinny cannot simply say yes.
