Emmerdale's Caleb caught in Sadie's dangerous game as Ruby fights back
Emmerdale's Caleb falls deeper into Sadie's manipulation as jealousy over Ruby and Ross leads to a serious betrayal and furious confrontation
Caleb's marriage to Ruby faces another crisis in Emmerdale as Sadie takes advantage of his jealousy and pushes him into a decision he could come to regret.
Sadie has been interfering in the couple's relationship, repeatedly encouraging Caleb to believe something is happening between Ruby and Ross. Her latest opportunity comes while sharing whisky with Caleb, who becomes increasingly convinced that his wife has betrayed him.
As Caleb imagines Ruby with Ross, his anger grows until he declares that his marriage is finished. He then sleeps with Sadie, unaware that she has been deliberately stirring up his suspicions.
Sadie subsequently approaches Ross and persuades him to dance before swapping places with Ruby. Caleb arrives just as his drunken wife collapses against Ross, appearing to confirm the very thing he already fears.
However, Ruby has no idea that Caleb has slept with Sadie.
When Caleb mentions seeing her dancing with Ross, Ruby is embarrassed but becomes furious after discovering that Sadie has encouraged him to believe she spent the night with another man.
Ruby confronts Sadie over her lies, forcing her to claim she has only acted out of concern.
Caleb then orders Sadie to move out immediately, but the damage to his marriage may already have been done.
With Ruby beginning to question Sadie's friendship, Caleb is left carrying a secret of his own.
