Emmerdale’s Belle is kept in the dark after a chilling discovery

Coming up on Emmerdale, Belle’s loved ones discover a disturbing delivery addressed to her and face a difficult decision about what to say. Their instinct is to protect her, but doing so means keeping her unaware of something intended for her.

Belle has been trying to rebuild her life after the abuse she experienced during her marriage to Tom. The prospect of his release from prison has brought those fears back into focus, affecting the security she has worked to regain.

Her relationship with Kammy offers support as she attempts to move forward. However, he cannot remove the anxiety surrounding Tom or prevent reminders of what Belle went through.

Belle’s work as a wedding planner also becomes difficult when she notices behaviour she finds concerning between Caz and Jordan. Hoping the bride might need someone to speak to, she raises her worries in private.

Caz insists that her relationship is happy and responds by firing Belle. The encounter leaves Belle upset and questioning whether her own experiences have influenced her judgement.

Against that background, Kammy finds a wreath of dead flowers addressed to his girlfriend. Its appearance raises immediate suspicion about Tom, although there is no confirmation that he sent it.

Cain urges Kammy not to tell Belle, wanting to spare his sister another upsetting discovery. The two men are left handling information that concerns her directly while she continues dealing with the damage to her work.

The decision creates a difficult tension between protecting Belle from distress and allowing her to know what is happening around her. For now, the people closest to her are aware of a frightening delivery she has not been given the chance to assess herself.
