Emmerdale's Aaron Dingle Refuses To Ignore The Warning Signs About Serena

Aaron Dingle has learned the hard way that trusting the wrong person can come at a heavy cost, and new scenes on Emmerdale suggest he is not prepared to make the same mistake twice.

As questions continue to surround newcomer Serena, Aaron finds himself increasingly concerned about her motives. While others are willing to give her the benefit of the doubt, Aaron's natural instincts tell him there is more going on beneath the surface. After everything the family endured because of John Sugden's deception, it is perhaps no surprise that Aaron is now paying close attention to every detail.

Coming up, Robert Sugden is knocked unconscious by a runaway farm vehicle. Fortunately, Serena is on hand to help him, but rather than easing Aaron's concerns, the incident only leaves him asking more questions. Aaron cannot shake the feeling that something about Serena does not add up, particularly as her interest in John's past becomes more obvious.

Recent months have seen Aaron and Robert rebuild their relationship and establish a stable future together after years of challenges, heartbreak and separation. That hard-won happiness has given Aaron even more reason to protect the people he loves. From his perspective, any potential threat to the family is worth investigating and he won’t stop until he knows the truth.

The situation becomes increasingly uncomfortable when Serena continues asking questions about John. Aaron notices her growing fascination with the former Sugden's history and begins to wonder why she is so determined to uncover information that most people would prefer to leave in the past.

His concerns are heightened by the fact that Serena appears to be carrying out her own research behind the scenes. New scenes show her hiding information from both Robert and Vanessa, creating further suspicion about what exactly she is looking for and why she is keeping it secret.

Aaron's reaction is shaped by experience. Either way, his determination to protect Robert shows just how far the couple have come. Rather than allowing past mistakes to define them, Aaron is doing everything he can to ensure that history does not repeat itself, and is doing everything in his power to protect those he loves the most.
