Emmerdale Spoilers 7-11 September: Charity Charged, Jimmy’s £150k Secret and Joe’s Baby Decision

Emmerdale is piling the pressure onto three families from 7-11 September, as Charity’s future takes a terrifying turn, Nicola discovers the scale of Jimmy’s financial secrets and Joe faces an enormous decision about his newborn son following Dawn’s death.

Sarah begins the run already emotionally exhausted after Todd’s funeral, and Charity’s questioning only adds to everything she is struggling to cope with. The situation then becomes much more serious when Charity is formally charged with Todd’s murder, despite her insistence that the complete truth surrounding his death has still not emerged.

Charity later remains behind bars and decides to send a deeply personal message to Cain. She asks Mack to retrieve her St Christopher pendant and take it to him, knowing Cain will immediately understand why she has chosen to part with something carrying such significance.

By Friday, Cain is left reeling by what Charity has done and the meaning behind it. With Charity unable to explain everything face to face, the pendant appears to say far more than words could.

Nicola is meanwhile discovering that Jimmy left behind devastating problems she knew nothing about. After learning that he sold his shares in the haulage business, she is stunned to find there is no obvious sign of the money he received from the deal.

That revelation could also spell trouble for Caleb and Ruby. They know they were involved in persuading Jimmy to sell, and Caleb becomes increasingly uncomfortable as Nicola starts looking more closely at what happened before Jimmy’s death.

The financial picture gets considerably worse when Nicola digs deeper. Problems involving the family home emerge, while the missing haulage money leaves her wondering how she can possibly cover Jimmy’s funeral expenses and Elliot’s university costs.

Joe is facing a completely different kind of crisis as he continues grieving for Dawn. He visits their newborn son in the NICU with Kim, where the reality of becoming a single parent becomes impossible to ignore.

Joe eventually makes a major decision concerning his baby’s future, but the grief surrounding Dawn’s death continues to overwhelm him. Whatever he decides, nothing can remove the painful reality that the future he expected with Dawn has disappeared.

Robert later reveals that he wants to take over The Hide, adding another potentially significant development to an already packed run of episodes.
