Emmerdale spoilers 25 to 30 October as Paddy finds a body and a kidnapper is exposed

Shocking events next week on Emmerdale, as a body with a knife in its back is the last thing Paddy expects to find at the vets, but his discovery is just one of several unsettling developments in Emmerdale.

Baby Tate’s disappearance leads to a revelation that shocks Graham, Kim’s attempt to get answers ends with Thea being stabbed, and a dangerous visitor leaves Liam struggling to understand how badly things have gone wrong.

Paddy’s discovery raises a disturbing question

Paddy finds what appears to be a body at the vets, with a knife sticking out of its back. It is a grim discovery, but is there more than meets the eye...

Elsewhere, another mystery centres on the disappearance of baby Tate. Graham tells Kim that the baby has been taken, prompting a desperate search. When Graham rushes to Home Farm Stables, he finds the child safe and sound, but his relief is interrupted by the revelation of the true kidnapper.

Kim turns on Thea as she demands answers

The search for the missing baby brings Kim into a confrontation with Thea. When Thea loses her temper, Kim attempts to run, but panics and stabs her while trying to rush her.

Thea is left bleeding as Kim presses her to reveal where baby Tate is. Kim subsequently rushes her to hospital, but the situation threatens to spiral further when a doctor insists that the police must be called.

Kim is daunted by the prospect of police involvement and fears the consequences. Her actions have put her in a difficult position just as the truth about the kidnapping is coming to light.

Liam discovers that Dave is no part of a game

Liam returns from a medical conference accompanied by Manpreet. Their arrival is met with an unexpected accusation from Chas, who believes they are having an affair. Both Liam and Manpreet are shocked by what she says.

Liam later attempts to decipher a clue Chas has left behind. When Dave knocks at his door, Liam assumes that he is taking part in Chas’s game and allows him to tie him up. Dave grows increasingly frustrated because Dylan has not arrived, while Liam fails to recognise the danger.

That changes when Dylan appears and is petrified to see Dave. Dave reveals that Dylan has informed the police about him, and Liam begins to understand that the situation is not what he thought.

Marlon and Chas arrive, but Dave knocks Marlon unconscious. Despite Liam and Chas trying to talk him down, Dave pulls a gun and guides Chas outside.

Ruby’s argument with Caleb gives Sadie an opening

Ruby faces an embarrassing setback when a client witnesses her arguing with Caleb and leaves unimpressed. Rather than resolving the problem together, Ruby and Caleb blame one another, and Ruby storms off.

Once Ruby has gone, Sadie convinces Caleb that Ruby has a problem with alcohol. Sadie then turns her attention back to Ruby, continuing to plant the idea that Caleb is controlling.

The conflicting messages leave Ruby and Caleb facing further mistrust, with Sadie actively influencing how they see one another.

Emmerdale airs on ITV1 and is available to stream on ITVX.
