Emmerdale spoilers 24–28 August: Dawn attacks Graham and wedding horror

Emmerdale delivers a dramatic run of episodes from 24–28 August as Dawn takes desperate action and Caleb reveals exactly what she has been planning. Her attempt to escape with Billy and the children leads into a horrifying development on her wedding day with Joe, while DS Ramsden begins searching for answers.

Monday 24 August

A desperate Dawn knocks Graham out with a shovel as events spiral out of control. Her actions set the scene for an increasingly dramatic few days involving Joe, Caleb and the rest of the family.

Caleb is furious as he tells Joe that he has finally evened the score between them. Jimmy is also left questioning everything after discovering Caleb’s true intentions.

Wednesday 26 August

Caleb takes pleasure in revealing Dawn’s secret escape plan to Joe. He tells him that Dawn has already left with Billy and the kids, leaving Joe facing a race to stop her from getting away.

Whether Joe can reach Dawn in time remains uncertain. With Dawn already on the move, his planned future with her appears to be rapidly falling apart.

Thursday 27 August

Events take an even darker turn when a horrific incident occurs and news quickly spreads. A disturbed crowd watches on in shock as something goes terribly wrong on Dawn and Joe’s wedding day.

The full circumstances are not revealed in the spoilers. However, the incident clearly leaves those witnessing it stunned by what has unfolded.

Friday 28 August

DS Ramsden takes charge of the investigation, although resentment appears to be driving her actions. Questions are also raised over whether she may be hiding something as she attempts to uncover the truth.

Gabby watches the events from a distance and is overcome with emotion and guilt. Her reaction suggests the fallout from the wedding day incident is far from over.
