Emmerdale spoilers for 21 to 25 September put Ruby and Vinny in serious danger as Joe seeks revenge and Caleb reaches for a weapon.
Emmerdale pushes several characters towards breaking point as Dawn and Jimmy’s deaths continue to tear through the village. Joe is consumed by revenge, Caleb struggles to control his anger and Vinny’s decision to confess leaves him facing an unpredictable response.
Here are five characters caught in the most dangerous situations.
Ruby Miligan
Ruby faces the most immediate danger when Joe buries her alive inside a coffin.
She wakes trapped underground and cannot escape, eventually becoming silent as she appears to run out of air.
Vinny Dingle
Vinny finally confesses that he caused the crash which killed Dawn and Jimmy.
After telling Nicola, he goes directly to Home Farm and admits the truth to Joe, whose menacing silence leaves everyone fearing for Vinny.
Caleb Miligan
Caleb’s desperation to save Ruby quickly turns towards violence as he attempts to find a weapon.
He later begins searching again, but Moira intervenes and warns that revenge will destroy his own life.
Joe Tate
Joe may be the person driving much of the danger, but his behaviour is becoming increasingly reckless.
Kim recognises that he is making damaging decisions and vows to stop him going any further.
Kev
Kev faces a different kind of threat as his own lies begin closing in.
After seeing Nicola’s emotional reaction to Vinny’s confession, he fears what she could do when she discovers that he lied too.
The consequences of Dawn and Jimmy’s deaths are no longer contained to those directly involved in the crash. With revenge, guilt and secrets colliding, several villagers are now dangerously close to losing far more.
