Emmerdale spoilers 2–5 November 2026 as relationships are tested and secrets emerge

Trust becomes a serious problem for several Emmerdale residents next week, with Caleb allowing jealousy to influence his decisions while Ruby begins questioning Sadie's involvement in their marriage.

Robert's determination to recruit staff for The Hide also causes tension within the Dingle family. Meanwhile, Belle tries to help someone she believes may be in difficulty, only to find herself facing an angry reaction.

Caleb and Ruby's marriage reaches another crisis

Caleb and Ruby have already faced considerable difficulties in their marriage, but Sadie's arrival has added another source of tension.

Sadie has been encouraging Caleb to question Ruby's relationship with Ross, carefully using his jealousy to create further problems between the couple.

While sharing whisky with Sadie, Caleb becomes convinced that Ruby has betrayed him. Angry and believing his marriage is finished, he sleeps with Sadie.

However, Sadie has no intention of ending her interference there. She begins flirting with Ross and persuades him to dance before deliberately swapping Ruby into his place.

Caleb arrives just as Ruby drunkenly collapses against Ross, leaving him furious about what he believes he has witnessed.

Ruby is mortified when Caleb mentions the dance, but her feelings change when she discovers that Sadie has been suggesting she spent the night with Ross.

She confronts Sadie, demanding an explanation for the lies and interference.

Sadie attempts to defend herself by claiming she has only been concerned about the couple, but Ruby is beginning to question her intentions.

Caleb then orders Sadie to move out, apparently determined to put some distance between them.

However, his night with Sadie has already created a serious betrayal, regardless of whether Ruby knows about it.

Robert and Aaron face Charity's anger

Robert is focused on establishing The Hide and believes Marlon could be an important addition to the restaurant.

He offers Marlon creative freedom in the kitchen, hoping to persuade him to leave his long-standing position at the Woolpack.

Marlon decides to accept the opportunity, while Mary also agrees to join Robert's new business. For Robert, recruiting experienced staff is a welcome development as he works towards getting the restaurant operating.

However, Charity is horrified when Marlon and Mary explain that they are handing in their notices.

She feels betrayed by their decision and makes her frustration clear, angrily turning on both members of staff.

Robert and Aaron soon find themselves facing Charity's fury as well, with the pair ordered out of the Woolpack.

Although the confrontation creates tension, Robert's plans are moving forward. Having Aaron beside him provides another positive focus as they continue building their life together.

Belle's past affects her judgement

Belle's experiences with Tom have left her understandably wary of controlling behaviour within relationships.

When she meets Caz and Jordan through her wedding work, something about their interactions leaves her concerned.

Rather than ignoring those worries, Belle invites Caz over and attempts to discuss their relationship privately.

She hopes Caz will feel comfortable speaking openly, but the conversation takes an unexpected direction. Caz is furious at Belle's suggestion that something might be wrong and insists that she and Jordan are happy.

The disagreement ends with Caz firing Belle, leaving her devastated after trying to help someone she believed might need support.

Belle faces another worrying development when Kammy discovers a wreath of dead flowers addressed to her, and Tom is the prime suspect

Cain urges Kammy not to tell Belle about the delivery, concerned about what another unsettling incident might mean for her.

With Tom's release from prison approaching, those closest to Belle are already aware of how difficult the situation has become.

Nicola discovers Kev's vulnerable side

Nicola has an emotional conversation with Kev in which she opens up about her grief.

Kev responds by showing a more vulnerable side to his personality, something that takes Nicola by surprise.

The exchange gives Nicola an opportunity to speak about difficult feelings while discovering that Kev is capable of a more sensitive response than she expected.

It is a quieter development in a week filled with arguments and confrontations elsewhere in the village.
