Emmerdale pushes Sarah even closer to breaking point in upcoming scenes when an innocent conversation with Bear forces her to confront the devastating consequences of keeping Dr Caitlin Todd’s death secret.
Sarah and Charity remain determined to hide the truth about what happened, but maintaining their story is becoming increasingly difficult. Charity is already under growing police pressure, while Sarah has been left carrying the guilt of knowing exactly why her gran is putting herself in such a dangerous position.
Bear unknowingly makes that burden even heavier when he speaks to Sarah about Charity’s guilt. He has no idea how deeply Sarah is involved in the events surrounding Caitlin’s death, meaning his words hit far harder than he could possibly realise.
The conversation comes at a particularly vulnerable moment for Sarah. She has already considered going to the police and revealing what really happened, while Charity continues facing the possibility that investigators could uncover flaws in the account she has given them.
