Emmerdale Joe Tate’s Dream Wedding Turns Into Nightmare

Joe Tate believes he is preparing for the perfect start to married life with Dawn, but his lavish Emmerdale wedding is surrounded by secrets. While Joe focuses on making the day everything Dawn could want, she is secretly planning to leave with Billy.

Dawn has become convinced Joe was responsible for the attack that left Billy in a coma. She does not know Kev has admitted accidentally attacking Billy at the depot, while Billy has chosen not to correct her belief.

Joe is therefore preparing to marry someone who has already agreed to another future. Dawn and Billy intend to flee with the children, and Caleb has even given Billy money to help fund their escape.

The groom also manages to make the situation worse without realising it. After another tense confrontation with Caleb, Joe withdraws his wedding invitation and dismisses him, unaware Caleb knows exactly what Dawn is planning.

Caleb eventually decides to reveal the truth and tells Joe that Dawn intends to run away with Billy. The bombshell leaves Joe facing the possibility that the fairy tale he has carefully constructed could collapse before Dawn ever reaches the altar.

Graham is also starting to uncover what is happening and attempts to intervene. With multiple secrets converging around the same wedding, Joe could be about to discover just how little he knew about the plans being made behind his back.
