After weeks of tension, accusations and growing anger among several characters, viewers were left stunned when a flashforward sequence revealed a future crime scene and confirmed that a murder has taken place.

A confrontation turns explosive
The latest episode saw Mackenzie Boyd travel to Sheffield to confront Dr Caitlin Todd over her treatment of Charity.
Determined to stand up for his wife, Mack challenged Caitlin over her continued insistence that Charity had fabricated her allegations.
Rather than showing any remorse, Caitlin attempted to manipulate the situation once again. She tried to paint Charity as the villain and even revealed the truth about baby Leyla's parentage, believing the information would turn Mack against his wife.
However, Caitlin's plan quickly unravelled when it became clear that Mackenzie already knew the truth.
