Emmerdale Charity's trial date is set as Sarah fears prison nightmare
Charity's trial date is finally set as Sarah fears her gran could go to prison and grows suspicious of Serena in Emmerdale.
Charity's case takes another serious step forward in Emmerdale as a trial date is set and Sarah faces the prospect of her gran going to prison.
Sarah has already been living with the consequences of what happened to Caitlin. After changing her account and implicating Charity, she later tried to retract what she had said, but the police remained unconvinced.
Coming up, Thea receives confirmation that Charity's trial date has now been fixed. The development turns the threat hanging over the family into something much more immediate.
Sarah knows Charity could ultimately lose her freedom over a death Sarah herself caused. The knowledge continues to weigh heavily on her as the case moves closer towards court.
Her attention is then caught by a secretive meeting between Serena and Thea. Sarah knows Serena helped her following Caitlin's death, so seeing her speaking privately with the detective investigating the case immediately gives her another reason to worry.
Emmerdale continues on ITV1, with episodes also available on ITVX. Image credit: ITV.
