Emmerdale Caleb Miligan’s Revenge On Joe Takes Huge Risk
Caleb secretly helps Billy take Dawn away from Joe, but his revenge plan becomes increasingly dangerous as more villagers close in on the truth.
Caleb Miligan is determined to see Joe’s world come crashing down, and Dawn’s secret relationship with Billy gives him the perfect opportunity. Rather than remain on the sidelines, Caleb actively helps Billy prepare to leave with Dawn and the children.
Caleb gives Billy money to help fund their escape and knows the plan would devastate Joe. He is also aware Kev was responsible for Billy’s attack, while Dawn continues believing Joe was behind what happened.
That puts Caleb in a particularly dangerous position because he knows Billy is allowing Dawn to act on false information. Billy may not like being used as part of Caleb’s feud, but he still needs his help if he is going to get away.
Joe makes matters worse by clashing with Caleb at the Woolpack. After becoming increasingly irritated by his behaviour, Joe removes him from the wedding guest list without realising how much information Caleb has at his disposal.
Caleb eventually decides to use it and tells Joe that Dawn intends to run away with Billy. His revenge may deliver exactly the devastation he wants, but it also risks exposing his own role in helping the couple disappear.
With Graham investigating Billy’s attack and Dawn beginning to question what she is leaving behind, Caleb’s victory may not be as straightforward as he hopes. His decision to involve himself in Dawn and Billy’s escape could leave far more than Joe dealing with the fallout.
